On November
the 5th started the International Conference “Biodiversity of the
Caucasus and the South of Russia”. It lasted for three days and was devoted to the
70-anniversary of Gaibek Abdurachmanov, the dean of the faculty of ecology and geography
of DSU. He being an outstanding scientist and a political person did his best
to attract officials’ attention to ecological state of this region. Large amount
of reports with up-to-date data were made during this period. Did you take part
at work of the Conference?
