Do not try this at home even if you do have a ten-foot-angry alligator in your front room.

Alligator wrestling season has come around again in Australia, and the aim of the game “to steal all her eggs”. But this is no sport. There is a good reason why Time Faulkner and his men are risking their lives to abduct her young at the Australian Reptile Park near Sydney.

“There’s a couple of reasons that we need to remove the eggs. One is that alligators are cannibals. If they hatched in here, they would be eaten by all other alligators.”

Because the weather in Australia was too hot for alligator eggs to hatch, the team will incubate them in a safe environment.

But, just when they thought it was safe, an even angrier male alligator emerged from the lagoon, and he didn’t seem happy. Sometimes it’s just better to run away.
